Barum Course
The Barum Course is an 18-hole parkland course, with a par of 71 and a total of 6289 yards (Blue Tees).
The course is designed for all abilities, with lots of shape and character for players to plan their way around strategically. The course also offers superb views of Barnstaple and the surrounding countryside.
A full dress code is enforced on the Barum course.

The Loop
The Loop is a modern, full-size 9-hole Par 3 course designed to offer a completely different way to play golf at Portmore. With six different tee zones on every hole, the course can be played at a distance to suit your ability — from juniors and beginners right through to experienced golfers looking for a serious short-game challenge.
Don’t be fooled by the Par 3 label. From the back tees, The Loop stretches to 1,644 yards over nine holes, with individual holes reaching as far as 247 yards. Move through the different tee zones and the course changes considerably, with each hole offering a different test of distance, accuracy and course management.
For newer golfers, juniors or anyone simply looking for a more relaxed game, the forward tees make The Loop far more approachable while still providing the experience of playing a proper golf course. More confident golfers can move further back — or mix things up with The Loop Roulette, letting the wheel decide which tee you play from on each hole.
